When should we begin the application process? 

Families should begin the application process as soon as they know they are interested in enrolling their child. Some of our classes reach capacity quickly. We process applications in the order that they are received when enrollment opens. The enrollment contracts and class placements begin in February 2025.  

How old does my child need to be for eligibility? 

Young Threes: Child will turn 3 between September 1-April 30 

Pre-Kindergarten Threes: Child is 3 before September 1 

Pre-Kindergarten Fours: Child is 4 before September 1  

Kindergarten: Child is 5 before September 1 

Is financial aid available? 

Yes, we offer need-based tuition assistance through the LUCE Fund for Children, a charitable entity organized by friends and supporters of Lucy School. Applications must be submitted directly to the LUCE Fund by 2/15/24 for the 2024-2025 school year. The LUCE Fund reviews applications with identifying information redacted. Only fully enrolled children are eligible to apply. There are also limited opportunities to make tuition-reduction arrangements with the school in exchange for work at the school.
